A hospice nurse makes a very real contribution
to the care of patients during the crucial
and vulnerable period at the end of their
lives. As a hospice nurse, you are first
required to be a registered nurse (RN)
with a two-year involvement as a full-time
RN prior to certification as a hospice
nurse. This experience should take place
at a hospice care practice in order to
ready you for the unique challenges of
this work.
